About me:
As a textile designer and artist, my practice is rooted in a deep love of fiber, texture, pattern, and form, and curiosity about how textiles shape our lives.
In my design practice, I create print, woven, and knit textiles, explore color, and research materials and trends. My experience includes sourcing, approvals,

archiving, and sustainable practices.
In the studio, I quilt, weave, and build sculptural pieces that explore the relationship between textiles, memory, and the body. An essential part of my practice is experimenting with new technologies, mixed media, and innovative techniques. I enjoy teaching and mentoring.
My work has been presented in exhibitions in Raleigh, NC; Boulder, CO; and the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as appearing in Fiber Art Now and Digital Weaving Norway publications.
I earned a BS in Textile Design from North Carolina State University’s Wilson College of Textiles and a MFA from the California College of the Arts. I also have a BA in Anthropology from NC State.
